AROUND THE LEAGUE 🚨

💰 CeeDee Lamb’s holdout is over. The star WR agreed to a four-year, $136 million deal with the Cowboys. You can comfortably take him in the 1st round of drafts again.

😕 The Patriots QB1 remains a mystery. After saying Drake Maye was their “second-best quarterback,” HC Jerod Mayo later said it was “a true competition” and that “Drake Maye has outplayed Jacoby [Brissett].” Maye definitely offers a higher ceiling for what might be one of the worst offenses in the league.

😬 Rams RB Kyren Williams will return punts, according to HC Sean McVay. Blake Corum managers rejoice.

The Broncos cut RB Samaje Perine. While he doesn’t offer much value himself, he could vulture receiving work from whichever backfield he joins. With his previous ties to Cincinnati — and his former OC Brian Callahan now in Tennessee — Zack Moss, Chase Brown, Tony Pollard, and Tyjae Spears truthers are on pins and needles.

The Broncos also cut WR Tim Patrick, who will now join Detroit’s practice squad. This could finally pave the way for Marvin Mims to see some snaps in Denver.

The Browns cut RB D’Onta Foreman, but are expected to bring him back — likely after trading one of their QBs. They do this often with vested veterans who don’t have to go through waivers once released.

🥱 WR JuJu Smith-Schuster signed with the Chiefs. He’s likely to be more of a depth piece than a major contributor (especially since they cut Kadarius Toney and Justyn Ross), so you should still feel comfortable drafting Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy.

🔄 The Titans have traded QB Malik Willis to the Packers for a 2025 7th round pick. His mobility makes him an intriguing backup to keep tabs on in deeper dynasty leagues.

Injury Report:

🚑 The following fantasy-relevant players will remain on the PUP list and miss at least the first 4 weeks of the regular season:

  • Browns RB Nick Chubb

  • Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks

  • Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson

  • Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell

  • Rams TE Tyler Higbee

  • Dolphins WR Odell Beckham Jr.

  • Patriots WR Kendrick Bourne

🚑 49ers RB Elijah Mitchell was placed on the season-ending IR. Jordan Mason is now the CMC handcuff to roster.

🚑 Packers RB A.J. Dillon was also placed on the season-ending IR. Their rookie RB MarShawn Lloyd avoided the PUP list, but is still dealing with a nagging hamstring injury. In the meantime, Josh Jacobs and Emanuel Wilson will lead the Green Bay backfield.

🚑 Steelers RB Jaylen Warren (hamstring), Rams WR Puka Nacua (knee), Jags WR Christian Kirk (calf), and Lions TE Sam LaPorta (hamstring) are all expected to be back for Week 1.

🚑 Saints RB Kendre Miller was placed on the IR, forcing him to also miss at least 4 games.
