Kenny Golladay's hip thrusts continue to plague him - Dec 10
Good morning to everyone in the fantasy football playoffs - Fellas, Iām writing exams this week - but taking a short break to bring this fantasy football news to you. Because #priorities and f*** school - letās get it!
Kenny Golladay: A Mystery
Kenny Golladay still has not practiced since this IG post. With a hip injury.
Itās been a month.
Lol but ya itās a contract issue. Thereās no reason for him to risk his health without a long term contract. Even fellow Lions players have tweeted for Kenny G to get #paid before his deal expires.
Deep Dives - Week 15
Three players available in almost every league worth picking up. The idea is you grab a player before everyone wants to grab them off the waiver wire. Last week, the perfect pickups were (again) Logan Thomas and Ty Johnson - who we mentioned a week earlier.
This week, youāll want to have the following players stashed (ownership in brackets):
TE: Cole Kmet (0.8%) - The Bears rookie is slowly gaining more playing time in Chicago, surpassing Jimmy Graham as the top TE in the Windy City. Kmet tied Allen Robinson for the team lead with 7 targets, which he turned into 5 catches for 37 yards and a TD. Heāll be difficult to trust, but having a potential TE stashed for a playoff run is worth it.
WR: Collin Johnson (0.8%) - Collin Johnson is the Jags leading WR since Mike Glennon took over in Week 12, averaging around 70 yards per game on 4 catches. The rookie fifth-round pick saw 14 targets the past two weeks and benefits from a great matchup against the Titans weak secondary this week.
RB: Peyton Barber (1.1%) - In what might be the greasy call of the week, Iād recommend grabbing Peyton Barber. Antonio Gibson is the future - but heās dealing with a bad case of turf-toe and could miss the fantasy playoffs (worst-case). Barber will see the majority of the ground-work while J.D. McKissic handles the passing-game. Expect 10-15 touches for Barber depending on game-flow against a weak SF team.
The Infirmary: Whoās in and whoās out
Josh Jacobs remained sidelined and Devontae Booker is expected to start against the Colts.
Mark Andrews was activated from the reserve list and is expected to play Monday against the Browns. James Conner was also activated.
Christian McCaffrey was on track to return this week but tweaked his quad in a personal workout and is now day to day.
Our boy Denzel Mims is away from the Jets on personal issues and, due to Covid-19 protocol, he may not be cleared for a prime matchup against Seattle.
Daniel Jones is expected to play Week 14 against the Cardinals.
Antonio Gibson is unlikely to play Week 14 after suffering a painful case of turf toe.
Cam Akers: Everything you want to know
Cam Akers will play Week 14 against the Patriots after missing practice Monday and being limited Tuesday. Akers should serve as the RB1 for the Rams for the remainder of the season after his recent performances (but it will likely be a frustrating committee).
Damn. Started so well.
Speaking of the Rams
They play tonight against the Patriots, which means Bobby Trees (or as the simps say, Robert Woods ) will be matched up against Stephon Gilmore. Iām sitting Woods if its a close call:
Still speaking of the Rams
Wow. As a fantasy football fanatic, I donāt respect defensive players as I should. Aaron Donald may be the best defensive lineman (defensive player?) ever. Heās currently on pace for his lowest graded season in 4 yearsā¦ and is still the highest-graded defender in the NFLā¦
BONUS
Sources say itās likely the Eagles try to move Carson Wentz
Congrats to the Fantasy Footballers on their 1000th episode! Iām coming for ya.
FF Hustle episode talking all things Week 14 & #playoffs
Nothing sums up this season like this tweet:
Thank you all - wish me luck on these examsā¦ Then go grab Breshard Perriman.
