Justin Fields lights up fantasy football + waiver wire pickups to win your league...

Good morning. Literally me on Sunday night.

Only I was alone.

Going forward, we'll be in your inbox on Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday mornings. Time to see what waiver grabs everyone's talking about.

WAIVERS

First, if Justin Fields, Kadarius Toney and George Pickens are available, they are priorities.

RB: Rachaad White

As Leonard Fournette struggles, White's chances of major volume grow. White saw a career high in carries last week, and has a three-down skill set to step right into a bell-cow role. If White somehow gets the top RB role in the Buccaneers offense, he could be a league winner. One of the highest-upside RB stashes.

  • Jeff Wilson was immediately the Dolphins RB1 (ahead of Raheem Mostert), leading the Dolphins RBs in snap share, touches, yards and fantasy points - despite only having five days to prepare.

  • Kyren Williams: The Rams coaching staff loves Williams and he could step into a large role, with Fantasy Points' Greg Cosell believing "Williams would be more of a factor in the passing game like a James White or an Austin Ekeler."

  • Jaylen Warren is averaging 5.3 YPC, compared to Najee’s 3.3 YPC. His volume should increase.

  • If Aaron Jones has to miss time with the ankle injury he suffered Sunday, Kylin Hill could be the primary passing downs option alongside AJ Dillon.

Chubba Hubbard feels like an obvious stash. Everyone's still thinking it's D'Onta Foreman's backfield, but forgets that Hubbard was named the starter post-CMC and led the Panthers RBs until suffering an injury late in Week 7 (posted 15+ fantasy points that game). Chubba could return for Thursday Night Football after missing the last two games (ankle injury). The Panthers also have the easiest remaining RB schedule.

A little more Rachaad White, Jaylen Warren & other rookie RBs.

WR: POWER TO THE PEOPLES-JONES

Donovan Peoples-Jones is quietly having a great season. An every-down player across from Amari Cooper and still only 23, DPJ could become the Will Fuller for Deshaun Watson. Not many waiver-wire WRs can make that claim. DPJ is also due for a TD, after not scoring yet this season. Stash everywhere

  • Michael Gallup is off to a slow start but OC Kellen Moore: “We got to find a way to get Michael going.” In his last game, Gallup had a season high 4/49 on six targets and 84% of snaps.

  • Jahan Dotson scored 13+ points in weeks 1-4 before suffering a hamstring injury. The 16th overall pick is targeting a Week 10 return & makes for a decent stash.

  • Cade Otton, who we've highlighted before, has now posted double-digit fantasy points in three of four games with Cameron Brate (concussion, neck) out.

  • Jarvis Landry went off for 7/114 in the season opener but has done nothing since. With Michael Thomas out for the season and Andy Dalton behind center, Landry is a decent 8-10 point per game option.

Cole Kmet is starting to make some noise and had a season-high 22 points in Week 9. After trading away two defensive studs, the Bears should be in shoot-outs going forward - making Kmet an appealing option in a bleak TE field.

With Romeo Doubs likely to miss a month or more, Samori Toure is an interesting stash as a potential pivot for Aaron Rodgers.

But listen, there's a chance Odell Beckham Jr. ends up on the Packers. That upside is too high to ignore, add him everywhere you can. Beckham named four teams he could join, name-dropping the Bills, Packers, Cowboys, and his first NFL team, the Giants.

QB: Deshaun Watson

Deshaun Watson will return in Week 13. Watson averages 22 points per game (3rd) since 2017 and could be that missing piece at QB your team needs for the playoff push. Now's a good time to stash him if you're starting Josh Allen (see below) or any other QB, really. Unless Justin Fields is somehow available in your league, there isn't another QB I'd add. Keep the roster spot for a backup RB or WR stash.

For the best breakdown on Watson's return, you'll want to read this article from The Athletic: How Deshaun Watson’s return to Browns sets up unusual second half of their season.

A helpful review of major injuries suffered by skill-players this weekend.

Josh Allen is being evaluated for an injury to his "ulnar collateral ligament and related nerves," per @mortreport. Here's a video of the play where Josh suffered his elbow injury, which happened on Buffalo’s final drive on Sunday.

The Packers are in trouble, as the trio of Romeo Doubs, Aaron Jones and Christian Watson were all injured on Sunday. Further complicating matters, the Packers are about to enter a 10-day stretch in which they play twice.

QUICK SLANTS

  • Colts named their former six-time Pro-Bowl C and ESPN analyst Jeff Saturday as their interim head coach. Saturday's highest level of coaching: highschool. Now we have definitive proof the Colts are tanking.

  • Jeff Saturday says he asked Jim Irsay "Why am I a candidate for this?"

  • Texans head coach Lovie Smith was non-committal on Nico Collins (groin) playing in Week 10 against the Giants.

  • Ezekiel Elliott (knee) did not practice on Monday but is expected to return this week.

Thanks for all the great feedback in our survey last week - y'all are the goats. We'll be making some updates per your suggestions, stay tuned...

Tweet of the Day

Kirk Cousins appeared on the Pat McAfee Show on Monday morning and they asked him about the video, more specifically his eight-pack. "I have always been ABSOLUTELY STRAPPED" (video).
