I can’t place my finger on it, but Week 8 felt weird. Maybe because my Bengals beat the Titans? It might be because I lost in almost every league I’m in? Maybe it was weird seeing Eagles fans happy?

RB: Dalvin Cook (Dalvin single handedly crushed matchups with 48+ points in a surprising Vikings W)

WR: D.K. Metcalf (Last week Tyler Lockett was the WR1, this week Russ cooked for D.K. to the tune of 40+ points)

TE: Travis Kelce (the no-double TE1 lived up to his billing this week, with 24+ points)

D/ST: PHI (20+ points - I think we learned more about the state of the Dallas Cowboys than we did about the Eagles)

George Kittle out for the fantasy football szn

The leagues best TE broke his foot running on artificial turf Sunday and is expected to miss around 8 weeks - making his earliest return Week 17… Which is after fantasy football season ends and useless to us. What about our fantasy teams George?!

The injury-prone 49ers also lost Jimmy Garoppolo after he aggravated a nagging ankle injury. Jordan Reed should return from the IR and is worth stashing if you lost Kittle. Nick Mullens should be added in superflex leagues.

Javon Wims punched a helmet

In what I have long considered the dumbest play in professional football, Bears WR Javon Wims decided to punch a Saints DB after words were exchanged. Instead of removing the rock hard helmet or aiming for an uncovered spot, Wims punch landed square on the helmet. To add insult to injury, Wims has been suspended two games. What an L.

Please man, no more news about Covid-19

Is it even news if the virus isn’t mentioned?Ravens D/ST gets a slight downgrade as CB Marlon Humphrey won't play in Week 9 against the Colts after testing positive for Covid. Packers RB Jamaal Williams is considered a "close contact" to confirmed Covid carrier RB AJ Dillon and is in danger of missing Week 9 against the 49ers. AJ Dillon will be out of the game. If Aaron Jones is also out, maybe pick up Tyler Ervin? Maybe just don’t use a Packers RB?
