But not by a player. You've let me down Miles Sanders.
Okā¦ last night was round 1 of two dynasty rookie drafts - I grabbed Trey Lance at 2 in a SuperFlex league and Najee Harris at 1 in a standard league. I couldnāt be happier.
That downside is that itās really really late in the morning and I work tomorrow. Hope youāre ready for some over-tired humor.
My oh My Miles
His stock is like anything I invest in, going down
BUT
Kenny Gainwell, RB, PHI
Miles Sandersā third-down work is in question. He may not even get that work. On a team that may not have DeVonta Smith for Week 1, the team will need somebody with some route-running acumen. Outside of the tight ends and not counting Smith, everybody else is pretty dusty (even Scott). Enter Gainwell, who played over Antonio Gibson at Memphis in 2019 and is a great route runner. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni knows how to use somebody with his profile; heās coached Nyheim Hines in Indianapolis and thatās a favorable comparison. Gainwell is also free in drafts.
This video made me cry
Jaylen Waddle update
DeVante Parker started training camp on the PUP list and Will Fuller has been held out of practice this week with an unspecified injury.
This sucks
Joe Burrow has struggled badly with interceptions and inconsistency in training camp. I hope to never write that again.
This rocks
This is the best thing youāll see all day
