NFL season kicks off & deeeep dives...
Good morning. If you're reading this - you made it. You lived to see another NFL season. Think about how special that is. How many people would die to be reading this. Billions.
Now **BRUCE BUFFER VOICE**
GAME DAY BABY!!! We've got a quick market update, deep dives (players to stash) and a preview of tonight's game.
MARKET
Stefon Diggs had MORE air yards and MORE red zone targets in 2021 than 2020. Expect a top 5 season and draft him middle of round 1 with confidence (@jlarkytweets).
DEEP DIVES
The idea is you pick up a player the week before everyone wants to grab them off the waiver wire. This column wins leagues like no other. Holding an extra QB? Grow up. This week's players, who probably went undrafted, that are worth stashing:
Jeff Wilson Jr. (3.1%) - Quietly earned the RB2 spot on a team that LOVES to run the ball, behind an RB1 who's been injured more often than I've been truly happy. Wilson's one game with over 15 carries last season: 119 yards & 1 TD. Stash.
Jaylen Warren (1.2%) - This undrafted rookie won the Steelers' RB2 role after rushing for over 1,200 yards and 11 TDs last year at Oklahoma State. Warren is an under-the-radar handcuff who backs up the RB with the NFL's heaviest snap count last season (Najee Harris). Stash.
Mike Davis (10.6% rostered on ESPN) - With Dobbins' Week 1 status uncertain and Gus Edwards out for the first four, Davis is a sneaky flier to throw in the flex - with potential to secure a lucrative role if he plays well.
Also, why is no one talking about K.J. Osborn (6.2%)? Last season, Osborn had seven games with at least 14 points and remains the WR3 for a team that plans to run more 3 WR sets.
Plus:
You Should Consider Stashing These 4 Running Backs Who Are Available in a High Percentage of ESPN Leagues:
-Khalil Herbert (76.6%)
-Kenneth Gainwell (72.2%)
-Isiah Pacheco (81%)
-Rachaad White (86%)If you had to pick one, which one would you choose?

THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS
Shootout in SoFi
A quick preview of every fantasy-relevant player in the Rams & Bills game. It's about time they gave us some good Thursday Night Football
Passing:
Josh Allen - The QB1 in fantasy football is a must-start every week. Rams allowed the ninth most passing yards per game (but 2nd fewest TDs) last season.
Matt Stafford - While his throwing elbow isn't a major concern, I don’t want to start Stafford in week 1 unless I have to.
Rushing:
Cam Akers & Darrell Henderson - Buffalo allowed the 6th fewest fantasy points to opposing RBs in 2021. Akers is coming off a soft tissue injury & has been limited in practice, while Henderson should split the backfield 50/50. Akers' rushing yards prop is set at just 44.5 for Week 1 (FanDuel). You’re banking on TDs here.
Bills RB Committee - If you're starting any one of them, goodluck. Bills RBs are on a 5 year streak without a rushing touchdown in week one.
Receiving:
Stefon Diggs - A game with shootout potential is good news for Diggs: when Josh Allen has 36+ pass attempts, Diggs averages 8.4 receptions. Stud CB Jaylen Ramsey usually didn't shadow last year and didn't shadow Diggs when they met in Week 3, 2020.
Gabe Davis - Top-5 in end-zone targets since 2020 while playing part time, Davis is a high upside but low floor play. He breaks fantasy with a huge game.
Cooper Kupp - Kupp's receiving prop is currently 88.5 yards on Fanduel. He went over this number in 19/21 games last season.
Allen Robinson - Robert Woods was WR11 before his injury last season and Robinson might be the better WR. I'm starting Allen Robinson over every non-Stefon Diggs Bills WR. Feels extremely safe as a fantasy WR2 option against new secondary pieces for Buffalo.
Tyler Higbee - Damn you're down bad if this is your best option.
Dawson Knox - TD dependent TE secured the bag yesterday.
I'd also consider starting Isaiah MacKenzie if you need to. Like I do.
No Tre White, the Bills are starting a rookie (Kaiir Elam) and a former Day3 pick (Dane Jackson) at CB.

Allen Robinson 📈Tyler Higbee 📉 (Matt Milano effect)
