Olivia Culpo's moment
It's about damn time the Bengals are trending in the right direction - Nov 12
Welcome back to another edition of the Morning Huddle - where I ignore my girlfriend while reviewing fantasy football news and put together a mildly comedic newsletter for you. Enjoy!
You might need to trade for Duke Johnson
If you realllllly need a W this week, Duke Johnson should see a heavy workload in David Johnson’s absence:
One of the best matchups of the season: D.K. Metcalf vs Jalen Ramsey
The Rams DC on whether Jalen Ramsey will shadow DK Metcalf this weekend: “won’t say whether Jalen Ramsey will stick with DK Metcalf in totality as they do like to move him around/may still assert a mix of coverages as usual”; however he did add that such a matchup between 2 elite players is “what gets you excited about pro sports.”
Here’s to hoping we can watch an incredible matchup against the best in the business.
CMC was here for a good time, not a long time
Let’s just give a moment of silence for Olivia Cuplo, who makes a living as a social media personality. CMC is with her. Must be nice bro!
However, things aren’t all golden in McCaffrey-land, as CMC is not expected to play Sunday against Tampa Bay due to a right shoulder, per Adam Shefter’s “sources”. McCaffrey now will be considered week to week and could miss up to 4 weeks. I hope you kept Mike Davis bro!
The Bengals are trending up
As a Bengals fan, this is a bit of a homer write-up. But hear me out (aka eat sand, I’m doing it anyway):
Joe Burrow is making incredible progress, despite dropping back behind one of the worst o-lines in history. Burrow is poised, accurate, and confident - all traits needed to be the QB of the future. Here’s a quick video summary on Joe’s progress by Matt Waldman, and Burrow’s best plays thus far. Now we just need to make sure he doesn’t do commercials like Baker Mayfield.
The Bengals also acquired disgruntled (but talented) DE Takk McKinley on waivers from the Atlanta Falcons. Takk fills the pass rush position vacated by previously disgruntled Bengal Carlos Dunlap; should Takk move into Dunlap’s vacant house?
Plus players in their secondary are balling!?
Your daily dose of fantasy articles
Why it’s Drewvember - and the top starts of Week 10 at every position: See why Antonio Gibson is the RB start of the Week in this excellent article.
Evan Silva is the analyst I respect the most - he’s the reason I have Will Fuller in 90% of leagues - and here he breaks down everything he saw in Week 9 (podcast). You’ll also learn so much from Brian Drake and Dwain McFarland on the fantasy football hustle podcast here. Their week 10 episode covers buys/sells and the top DFS options.
Fantasy Points Allowed Above Opponent Average, by position, per game, by legend Mike Beers. Teams allowing the most deep receptions (see next stat too).
Some surprising stats: Yards per reception leaders: (1) Packers WR MVS. Passing yards leaders: (1) Matt Ryan.
Most top performances allowed (and their Week 10 matchups) - this should help those annoying start/sit decisions.
One more low-key baller we like this week

Top NFL RB prospect Journey Brown learned yesterday he can never play football again. A real gut-check and reminder to always be thankful for our health.
If you missed it yesterday, it’s worth watching the top 10 longest throws of the season. Russ is COOKing.
Thank you all - Have a great day and get this $$$$. Also go trade for Mike Davis, Nick Chubb, and Duke Johnson if you need a W in week 10.
Question of the day: D.K. Metcalf vs Jalen Ramsey - who wins? I’m going D.K. all DAY.
