Offenses go nuclear, while we talk waiver wire legends...

Happy Halloween. For those of you who steal your kids candy, be careful. There are some sick, sick people out there.

Thanks to The Athletic, we don't need to trick or treat - we've already got it made. Their article Christian McCaffrey trade fallout was the reason I grabbed D'Onta Foreman everywhere I could. They answered the q: Who gets the running backs reps with McCaffrey gone?

And they always answer the call.

Remember their article on James Cook last week? It's about time you check out The Athletic, who's offering Morning Huddle subscribers a limited time discount you'll have to see to believe.

Today's newsletter covers all the critical Waiver Wire talk you need to win your league.

WAIVERS

First, if RB D’Onta Foreman, QB Justin Fields and TE Greg Dulchich are available, they are priorities. We covered all before (and have begged you to pickup Dulchich & Fields for weeks), but underestimated Foreman. Dulchich has been a top-12 fantasy tight end every week he’s played.

RB: KYREN WILLIAMS

Someone must be a decent RB on the Rams, right? How bad are things: the Rams used an RB by the name of Ronnie Rivers as the team’s lead runner in Week 8. Ronnie. Rivers. There's no way that guy get's more than 3 YPC...

Enter Kyren Williams. There is a possibility that Kyren Williams is activated this week. FantasyPoints.com's Greg Cosell believed Williams "would be more of a factor in the passing game like a James White or an Austin Ekeler", while Sean McVay had some great things to say about Kyren Williams as a player and a person. Worth a shot, right?

  • Chubba Hubbard: Don't forget that Hubbard had double the carries and ran more routes than Foreman in three quarters before his Week 7 injury.

  • Khalil Herbert continues to be the Bears' most productive running back on the ground, which is earning him more carries. Herbert has 200 more rushing yards than David Montgomery (Montgomery has more carries than Herbert). He's the 2nd best RB add this week, but likely taken.

  • Kenyan Drake: Gus Edwards picked up a hamstring injury and JK Dobbins remains out, making it likely Drake does what he does best: fill-in for injured starters (16 points last week).

WR: ELIJAH MOORE

WR Rashod Bateman expected to miss multiple weeks with a foot injury, opening the door for the talented Devin Duvernay. Ravens coaches wrote themselves a note to get Devin Duvernay more involved after last week's game - Duvernay already has SIX TDs this year.

But, what if the Ravens trade for Elijah Moore? The talented WR is worth stashing ahead of the trade deadline, given how many teams need a WR. Look at what happened with Kadarius Toney's value.

Rondale Moore posted quality stat lines in three of his last four appearances, including at least six catches in all three of those outings. Shame he's probably not available.

  • Joshua Palmer missed Week 7 with a concussion but will be the Chargers WR2 after Mike Williams suffered a nasty ankle injury. Palmer averages 7.2 targets per game as the WR2.

  • Evan Engram is one of only nine tight ends to score 10+ points on four occasions this year.

  • Foster Moreau remains a locked-in fantasy start when Waller is out. 40/43 routes + 8/37 targets.

  • Panthers WR Terrace Marshall reached several career highs v ATL on Sunday: Snaps: 74 (92%) Targets: 9, Rec yards: 87.

TE Isaiah Likely was our preseason darling, and after 19+ points, he finally showed why. Per The Athletic, "These numbers show that Likely’s production spiked because he was used more in the slot in Andrews’ absence. When Andrews returns, Likely’s value will decline." Ride the wave, Likely is talented enough to see more opportunities.

QB: JUSTIN TIME

The case for Justin Fields is easy. After his fourth consecutive game as a top-12 fantasy quarterback, Fields is a practically a fantasy starter with his rushing production alone. It helps that the Bears are borrowing from some Ravens/Lamar Jackson film in incorporating more designed runs for Fields into their offense. Add everywhere.

Marcus Mariota was the QB12 heading into this week and put up his fourth top-10 fantasy performance of the season. Mariota currently ranks top-five in both rushing attempts and rushing touchdowns for a QB, and the Falcons have the second-easiest schedule for the rest of the season.

QUICK SLANTS

  • Bears linebacker Roquan Smith, who leads the NFL with 83 tackles, was sent to the Ravens for second-and fifth-round draft picks and linebacker A.J. Klein. The Athletic grades the Bears as A-, while the Ravens are incomplete.

  • Drake London is one of the most obvious buys in dynasty for @CoopsFB, see why here.

  • TE Irv Smith suffered a high ankle sprain in Sunday’s win over Arizona, per sources. Team still sorting out timeline but he could miss some game action.

  • To those just following along: he prefers Ken Walker III over Kenneth. After the performance he's had for our fantasy teams, get this man a Barbie.

  • Mark Andrews might actually not miss any time. It totally depends on how the Ravens decide to play this

  • Rams said wide receiver Cooper Kupp is dealing with “tissue swelling in his ankle”, but he still is expected to play on Sunday vs. the Buccaneers.
