Nix That QB Competition

The Denver Broncos have officially announced rookie Bo Nix as their starting QB. As we noted in Wednesday’s newsletter, Nix has been incredibly efficient this preseason, but has yet to display the upside needed to get fantasy managers excited. But he does have some sneaky rushing upside (38 rushing TDs in his five collegiate seasons), which could lead to a stable floor as a QB2/3 in Superflex leagues.

Washington is sending former 1st round pick WR Jahan Dotson to the Eagles in exchange for a 3rd round pick and two 7th rounders. Dotson’s fantasy value doesn’t change too much, as he’ll be the WR3 in Philly. But Commanders WRs Dyami Brown and Luke McCaffrey now become draftable as the team’s second and third receivers.
