🏈 Watson's Time

Waivers to titles, Rachaad White, Pacheco & other top adds before Week 11...

Good morning to everyone who got a huge win this weekend. I wish my mood was always Jim Irsay after the seemingly insane Jeff Saturday hire paid off:

Who you Crappin jabroni??

Speaking of playoffs, it's almost time. And if you read the Morning Huddle, you're always in the playoffs. Today, we've got some playoff-winning waiver wire pickups for you.

We're just trying to win titles.

Today's newsletter covers the best waiver adds of the week and curates content you need to read to believe.

WAIVERS

First, if Rachaad White, Cole Kmet and Jeff Wilson are available, they are priorities.

RB: ISIAH PACHECO

Pacheco finished with 82 rushing yards on 16 attempts, while CEH wasn't given a single rushing attempt or target and is completely phased out (only played on four total snaps). If the Chiefs trust in Pacheco grows, you could be look at a league winner. Buy now before people get wise. In Week 11, Pacheco sees a Chargers defense that allows 27.4 RB fantasy points per game.

  • Jaylen Warren played on just 42.8% of snaps, while Harris played on 59.5%. Per Davis Mattek, Warren saw a season-high 36 snaps, ran 14 routes and out-targeted Najee 3-1 as well.

  •  Kyren Williams was activated from IR and played more snaps than Cam Akers, totaling 39 yards on four touches. He's carving out a passing-down role and looked explosive in all his opportunities (video).

  • Brian Robinson went off last night and could see more work going forward after Antonio Gibson suffered an ankle injury.

  • Elijah Mitchell really shouldn't be available in your league, but is worth the add if you need a more valuable version of Latavius Murray. No disrespect to Michell, but his role is limited given CMC's involvement. Still worth an add if you need a solid starter at RB.

Seriously though, we've been begging you to add Rachaad White for weeks - if he's available and you finally believe us, now is the time. Fournette is injured, White had the starting role already and there's this stiff-arm:

WR: CHRISTIAN WATSON

With Romeo Doubs out, Green Bay's rookie WR Christian Watson scored 32.7 points, becoming just the 6th rookie in the past 20 seasons with 100 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns in a game. This weekend, Watson played on 84% of snaps and had a season-high eight targets. With the concussion and hamstring injury behind him, the stage is set for him to become a fantasy star for the remainder of 2022.

  • Kadarius Toney: Among 30 WRs with 5+ targets yesterday Kadarius Toney was 6th in PFF Grade at 79.1, 4th in YPRR at 3.35, 1st in Passer Rating when targeted at 153.8 and 1st in Missed Tackles Forced. If it weren't for Christian Watson, Toney would be the WR1 pickup. With a concussion to JuJu Smith-Schuster, Toney played 45% of KC's snaps. Add/buy, a breakout is coming.

  • Foster Moreau should continue to see significant opportunities with Darren Waller (hamstring) on IR. Moreau caught 3-of-4 targets for 43 yards and a touchdown, and could've had another. He's a borderline must-add TE in a weak TE pool.

Trey McBride was considered the best TE in the draft - and now has an opportunity, with Zach Ertz out for the season.

  • Darius Slayton had 95 yards and a TD for the Giants on Sunday and should be considered a flex option against the Lions next week.

  • Jarvis Landry should played on 78% of snaps against the Steelers on Sunday and was targeted six times. Deep sleeper.

Donovan Peoples-Jones delivered this weekend, catching 5 passes for 99 yards. DPJ played on 58 snaps and ran 37 routes, similar to Amari Cooper. DPJ has the 3rd most significant WR target per route run increases from 2021 to 2022 (+34%). And he gets a massive QB upgrade in W13.

What we saw from the AJ Brown injury last night:

Ja’Marr Chase is still walking with crutches and making him a buy from any owner that needs wins now.

Chargers coach Brandon Staley said Mike Williams (ankle) will practice this week. A step in the right direction, but still doubt Williams plays this week.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Cooper Kupp has been diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain and the prognosis "doesn't look good." Players can race back from high-ankle sprains in as little as two weeks, but they are often 4-8 week marathons. There's no incentive for the Rams to rush him back.

QUICK SLANTS

  • Eno Benjamin was released by the Cardinals, leaving RB Keaontay Ingram as the sole handcuff to James Conner.

  • Despite suffering a hip pointer vs. the Seahawks, Buccaneers’ RB Leonard Fournette is likely to be ready for Tampa Bay’s next game after its bye at Cleveland, per Schefty.

  • Ravens HC John Harbaugh told reporters that TE Mark Andrews (shoulder) has a "really good chance" to play in Week 11 against the Panthers.

  • 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said his "goal" is for Christian McCaffrey and Elijah Mitchell to have "about even carries" going forward. Not great, Bob.

  • Marquise Brown will likely return after the team's Week 13 bye.

It’s almost my favourite time of year - American thanksgiving. Nothing better than skipping work meetings to watching football mid-day Thursday.

Hope ya'll have a great one. And I keep my day job.
