🏈 Isaac Guerendo & Week 14 Waivers
Players to add ahead of Week 14 in the NFL, including deeeeep dives.
Good morning.
It’s hard to believe, but we’ve already reached the last week of the fantasy football regular season. For some, that means you’re looking forward to a playoff run. For others — like me — you're in second-last place, despite being 3rd in points, so you’re stuck contemplating why you play this stupid game.
But regardless of your circumstances, if you’re reading this, it means you’re still active in your league and are ready to submit some waiver claims, so let’s get after it…

Running Back
Isaac Guerendo // Badgers Wire
49ers RB Isaac Guerendo (5%) is your league-winning pickup this year. Dump whatever FAAB you have left to try to get him. Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason are both heading to IR, which leaves Guerendo as the lone starter in San Fran. The rookie had the team’s lone TD of Sunday night on a 15-yard run and scored 19.2 fantasy points in Week 8, when he functioned as the team's lead back.
Commanders RB Jeremy McNichols (16%) is the next man up in Washington with Austin Ekeler now on IR. While he was outshined by Chris Rodriguez last week, the latter’s production came with the Commanders up 3+ scores. It was McNichols who was first off the bench to spell Brian Robinson, Jr.
Raiders RB Ameer Abdullah (27%) has 118 yards and seven receptions over the last two games. And if Zamir White and Alexander Mattison have to miss another game, Abdullah would face off against the Bucs, who allow the 2nd most receiving yards to fantasy RBs, per QBList’s Steve Pintado.
Chargers RB Kimani Vidal (24%) earned some more work thanks to a Hassan Haskins fumble, but he’s still firmly behind the plodder, Gus Edwards. If the Gus Bus is available, surely scoop him up, but Vidall is the “sexier” option here, being a young explosive rookie with passing game chops.
Bills RB Ray Davis (22%) “was involved early in Sunday night’s demolition of the Niners, scoring the game’s first TD. He also served as the closer for Buffalo when the win was beyond doubt. Davis finished with 67 yards on a dozen touches, highlighting his significant fantasy upside in the event James Cook ever misses any time.” — Yahoo’s Andy Behrens
Check if Panthers RB Jonathan Brooks (56%) is available in your league. He saw a slight uptick in usage (still just nine touches, though) and passed the eye test:

As always, be on the lookout for top tier handcuffs:
Tank Bigsby (48%)
Zach Charbonnet, SEA (46%)
Braelon Allen, NYJ (44%)
Tyler Allgeier, ATL (39%)
Justice Hill, BAL (34%)
Roschon Johnson, CHI (32%)
Trey Benson (31%)
Cam Akers (22%)
Blake Corum, LAR (21%)
Jaylen Wright, MIA (15%)
Khalil Herbert, CIN (13%)
Wide Receiver
NWI // SI
Titans WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (27%) has a ridiculous 21% TD rate this year — that’s the 2nd-highest rate for a receiver with at least 30 targets in the past quarter-century. He’s sure to regress, but NWI isn’t the one-trick pony you might think. Since DeAndre Hopkins was traded, he has an 18% target share and a 25% air yards share, while leading the team with five end zone targets, per NBC Sports’ Kyle Dvorchak.
Panthers WRs David Moore (12%), Adam Thielen (51%), and Xavier Legette (47%) are all worth an add with Bryce Young improving lately. Surprisingly, out of the three, Moore seems to be the go-to guy. Here are their numbers over the last two games:
Saints WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (42%) has only been targeted 10 times in the last three games, but he’s averaging 18 fantasy points per game during that stretch. MVS could easily put up a goose egg any week, but he’s clearly a high-ceiling deep option for New Orleans.
Cowboys WR Brandin Cooks (15%) returned to the lineup in Week 13, earning a 51.4% route share with a 19.4% target share, 16 receiving yards, and a score. Although the TD saved his day, Cooks is an interesting FLEX play moving forward with games against Cincy, Carolina and Tampa Bay, who have all bled out production to WRs all year, per FantasyPros’ Pat Fitzmaurice.
Browns WR Elijah Moore (23%) is rising with the tide in Cleveland. The Jameis Winston Experience is turning him into a fantasy-relevant WR, as he’s averaged 9.6 targets over the last five games, including 14 targets last night (leading to eight catches for 111 yards and a TD).
QB & TE
Mr. Unlimited // CBS Sports
Steelers QB Russell Wilson (41%) finished as the QB4 in Week 13 with 27.86 fantasy points. Russ is absolutely cooking in Pittsburgh, and while he has a couple tougher matchups against Cleveland and Philly coming up, his schedule lightens up later with softer matchups against Baltimore and KC to end the fantasy season.
Bears QB Caleb Williams (54%) has been a top-4 fantasy QB in each of the last two weeks, averaging 26.5 fantasy points per game in that span.
Browns QB Jameis Winston (21%) is the most entertaining player in the NFL.

We got the full Jameis experience last night, with him putting up 497 yards and four TDs, but also three INTs (including two pick-sixes). Regardless, he’s the QB4 in PPG, per David J. Gautieri, and isn’t afraid to air it out.
Titans QB Will Levis (17%) has scored 15+ fantasy points in four straight games and has a favorable upcoming schedule with games against the Bengals, Colts, Jaguars and Texans.
Panthers QB Bryce Young (12%) is a viable option in two-QB leagues. He’s finished as a top-20 QB in four of his last five games, with his most recent performance being his best — 26/46 for 298 yards with one passing TD and one rushing TD (QB8).
Saints TE Juwan Johnson (6%) is a must-add this week. New Orleans has been banged up at receiver all year, and now Taysom Hill is out with a torn ACL, leaving Johnson as one of the last men standing. JJ ran 40% of his routes from the slot in Week 13 and is tied for a team-high 10 catches out of the slot this year, half of which have come in his past five games, per Kyle Dvorchak.
Chiefs TE Noah Gray (18%) has gained at least 9 PPR points in each of his past three games. Over that stretch, he has more receiving yards than Travis Kelce and just as many receptions as DeAndre Hopkins, per PFF’s Nathan Jahnke. It’s never a great bet going after a team’s TE2, but Gray could be worth an add in TE-premium leagues or for those who just lost Taysom Hill.
Bills TE Dawson Knox (14%) could fill in for Dalton Kincaid, who injured his knee once again. Knox has reached 40+ yards in four of his last five games since Week 8 and could get the start against a Rams defense that’s allowed 4+ receptions to seven different TEs over their last eight games, per Fantasy Points.

Philadelphia Eagles // Athlon Sports
The Philadelphia Eagles (65%) just stymied the Ravens and will now look to do the same against the much less intimidating Carolina Panthers. Even with Bryce Young playing better, this is still a plus matchup for Philly.
The Arizona Cardinals (15%) defense is “averaging 10.5 fantasy points per game in its last four games, with an eye-popping 19 sacks in that span. Three highly manageable matchups await, with the Seahawks, Patriots and Panthers up next.” — NFL.com’s Dan Parr
The New Orleans Saints (14%) take on the Giants, who will be led by either Drew Lock or Tommy DeVito. Lock was just sacked six times against the Cowboys, while DeVito was brought down four times the week prior, per Dan Parr.
DEEP DIVES 🤿
Sincerely Yours
Sincere McCormick // SI
Stash these players on your bench before they blow up. Last week, the perfect pickup was Isaac Guerendo.
Raiders RB Sincere McCormick (0%) — helluva name — led the team with 12 carries for 64 yards, showing some juice we haven’t seen in the Vegas backfield this year. While Ameer Abdullah had the most snaps, and Zamir White and Alexander Mattison will return at some point, HC Antonio Pierce did say McCormick is “earning more reps.”
Commanders RB Chris Rodriguez (2%) racked up and impressive 13 carries for 94 yards and one TD in garbage time Sunday. While he’s likely the RB3 in Washington, there’s clearly some talent there.
Raiders WR Tre Tucker (9%) caught a 58-yard TD pass on Black Friday and caught seven passes for 82 yards the week before. The Raiders also face Tampa, Atlanta, Jacksonville, and New Orleans over the next four weeks — all of which are among the worst seven teams at preventing fantasy points to WRs, per Nathan Jahnke.
Jags WR Parker Washington (4%) scored 24.3 fantasy points in Week 13, leading the team with 12 targets. Although Trevor Lawrence went down with a scary concussion, Mac Jones filled in just fine, going 20/32 for 235 yards and two TDs.
Panthers TE Tommy Tremble (0%) took over the starting job with rookie J’Tavion Sanders out with a neck injury. Tremble saw plenty of work, running a route on 96% dropbacks while catching five passes for 77 yards. He should stay relevant if Sanders continues to miss time.
Cowboys TE Luke Schoonmaker (18%) has earned 20 targets in his last three games, but is likely to head back to the bench with Jake Ferguson likely to return this week. Schoonmaker’s still with a stash in dynasty or TE-premium leagues, though, in case he’s done enough to earn some sort of role with the team going forward.
