š Wired for the waivers
Who you should pickup, the Team of the Week, and Bill Belichick highlights.
Well well well, weāve made it to Week 2 in the NFL season. For those who drafted Cam Akers, Gus Edwards, J.K. Dobbins, Raheem Mostert, or Travis Etienne, donāt panic, thereās still plenty of football to be played. For everyone else, congrats.
Also - how much do these taunting rules suck? The Commish wrote a great article in the off-season about them, but we didnāt think the NFL would go so hardā¦
Week 2 Team of the Week
QB: Kyler Murray - The QB1 on the season posted another 35+ fantasy point day. Heās moved into the first-tier of our rankings (dropping tomorrow).
RB: Derrick Henry - With 44+ fantasy points, King Henry won matchups across the globe. Itās amazing how game-dependent he is, averaging 32+ points in Titans wins and less than 10 points when the Titans lose.
WR: Cooper Kupp - Have a season dude! Tied for the lead in PFF Rating, Kupp put up another monster 32+ week against the Colts. Itās clear Kupp and Stafford eat breakfast together.
TE: Travis Kelce - 20+ points, Kelce is making a case as the best TE in NFL history, with a (revived and maybe sober) Gronk close on his heels.
D/ST: CHI - 20+ points: As a Bengals fan, I donāt want to talk about it.
K: We actively discourage the use of Kickers.

WAIVER WIRE MOSES
Because we are parting the sea to make it clear who you should grab for Week 3 (listed in order of priority):
See that faint light through the path? Thatās Rondale Moore
Rondale Moore ARI WR (20-30% of FAAB in PPR): First, he bought his mother a house with his signing bonus. Legend. Second, heās really good. How good? Rondale Moore has the 5th most receiving yards of ALL TIME in a rookie WRs first two weeks (behind only Stefon Diggs, Desean Jackson, Randy Moss and Deandre Hopkinsā¦).Moore is averaging 14.3 yards AFTER the catch per reception this season, 4.8 yards more than any other NFL player. Heās also the only rookie besides JaāMarr Chase to catch four 15+ yard passes.Moore is an Austin Ekeler clone playing WR. Still not sold? Watch this:
Alexander Mattison MIN RB (20-25% of FAAB): It started with this tweet:While Cook escaped any major injury, he was shaken up twice in Week 2; the wear-and-tear adds up over the course of the season. While I doubt Mattison is available in your league, itās worth checking. Mattison is a priority add with league-winning potential. Dalvin Cook is dealing with the ankle sprain and Mattison would be in line for enough touches to make him a borderline RB1 if Cook misses time.
KJ Osborn MIN WR (5-10% of FAAB): What if this yearās Justin Jefferson was also on the Vikings? Osborn has 15 targets, 12 receptions and 28+ fantasy points through two games this season. With no TE involvement to speak of, Osborn is the clear third option for Kirk Cousins. With defenses focusing on containing Jefferson and Theilen, Osborn has plenty of opportunities against third-tier cornerbacks.Grab him now before he has another big week against the Seahawks.
Cordarelle Patterson ATL RB/WR (5-10% of FAAB): Donāt say we didnāt warn you, as Patterson was highlighted in our āDeep Divesā aka Pickup Before Next Week column. Atlanta is utilizing Patterson as a hybrid running back/wide receiver so far this season. He didnāt disappoint Sunday, and looked great doing it. My one concern is sustainability, as Mike Davis is still seeing volume.
Tweet of the Day
Thatās all for today folks - go hunt those waiver wires. Weāll see you tomorrow, bright and early.
